Beyerdynamic was found in 1924 by Eugen Beyer in Heilbronn, Germany. But not long after production had stopped, it all continued in 1948. During the time when manufacturing was frozen Eugen collected ideas for new and innovative audio products. One of these ideas later became life in the face of the “Stielhorer” DT 49. It became an admirable item of “Plattenbars” (Record Bars) for the whole 50′s. Beyerdynamic’s first wireless microphone was called the “transistophone”. It came into manufacture in 1962.
