Airport Extreme Base Station Unpacking & Installing Experience/Advice – I don’t go too deep into things, but this is a video I’ve made of the overall experience I’ve had from taking delivery to setting my Airport Extreme Base Station (802.11n) up. I was migrating from an old Netgear router (had it about 4/5 years) that kept crashing to the Airport Extreme. Initially I had problems transferring across from the old router – had numerous problems with conflicting IP’s. But then I did the wise thing, read the manual, contacted Apple Support (which was fantastic) to get a little bit of extra help, and I was up and running. It made me realise I don’t know much about networking but the Utility that comes with the Airport Extreme makes things easier.
